Forget the seven dwarfs, this forest themed wedding is a dream come true. Filled with forest items including branches, earth tones, ferns, ornamental pods, grasses, moss, berries and even two hugging bears as a cake topper. The ceremony evoked a very organic and naturalistic setting and featured several banana leaves. This theme, based around the couple’s love of hiking and nature brought the great outdoors inside. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were displayed on the sweetheart table amidst swirling grape vines, brown birch log boxes, and tree bark.

Using this inspiration, Celebrations Design Group took the opportunity to personalize their wedding and make it uniquely theirs. Using scrabble pieces, CDG incorporated the scrabble theme into different elements of the wedding. Instead of table numbers, the couple opted for table destinations, corresponding to the letter on the escort card. This personalization based on their story and personalities added to the flair and memory of their wedding.
